The problem
What stands in the way
Education and skills don't last in communities without clean water, healthy households and local leadership. The system around a child has to work too.
The opportunity — what WENET does
Community Development that creates independence
Our Community Development work spans health, nutrition and WASH (72 agents trained), environment and climate action (1,308 trees planted across 18 schools, six environmental clubs), research, and the Ubuntu Leaders Academy — launched 1 December 2023 in Jinja, with 30 young leaders trained. The goal is communities that lead their own transformation.
